Sal Hittle is on a road trip with her grandparents to Lewiston, Idaho and to pass the time she tells "an exceptionally strange story" about her friend Phoebe. Along the way her own story unfolds about her desire to be reunited with her missing mother. In this club learners will discuss classic the Newberry Award winning book "Walk Two Moons" by Sharon Creech. Learners will be assigned 5 chapters to read before each meeting of the class, and during class we will discuss what happened in the chapter with comprehension and discussion questions. Learners will also be required to turn in a 2 page paper at the end of the class about the book and from 4 different choices of styles of paper writing given during the first class. (If they wish they may also submit a optional second 1 page paper half way through the course using the same choices)
