Welcome to my Waldorf library classroom! Enter the world of beautiful and magical seasonal stories based on nature, weather, animals, and fairies in this imaginative Waldorf storytime class. I will read picture books and children will be able to look at the pictures in the stories on the screen share. After we read, we will have movement time with yoga poses that allow us to breathe and feel a part of the story. Finally, we will have a drawing time for children to process the story artistically. Drawings are student-led, free drawing, based on the story and we will have a sharing time for students to share their expressions if they choose to. This is a perfect class for kindy or first-grade students! This is an ongoing class so I will update the weeks and stories as we go through the year. As a librarian and rest teacher for six years at a Waldorf School, I absolutely treasure all of my moments spent with the dear kindy and first-grade students, and love that I can work with students from around the world in my online classroom.
