Using Waldorf-Inspired methods commonly used in Class 1 we will explore the four operations using the beloved stories of the math gnomes. Each week a new video lesson will be posted. Video lessons will include stories, poems, and activities for students to do. Each weekly lesson will also include activities to do outside of the video lesson times. How Will Students Interact? Main Lesson Book/Sketchbook Block and Stick Crayons Modeling Wax or Clay Flattened Marble Gems or Other Manipulative for Counting I will also provide you with ideas for you to make your own math gnomes if you would like to do so.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
