In this Waldorf inspired class, we will delve into the amazing story of beautiful tree spirits in T.A. Barron's Tree Girl with main character Anna (9). In each class we will light a candle and read the story together (teacher reading) and then draw pictures based on the part of the story we read. Students will hear and be immersed in the beautiful book Tree Girl while processing through drawing and questions.
I am a librarian at a Waldorf school, teacher, reading coach, and private tutor for students of all levels including struggling and gifted students. I also homeschooled both of my children using the Waldorf curriculum at home up to high school level.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
