In this Waldorf-Inspired bilingual circle time your child will join us on a four-day rhythm of learning and reviewing days, months, weather, letters (ABCs), numbers, shapes, colors, vocabulary and common phrases. This is a fun and socially interactive class using repetition, interaction, call & response, singing, hand movements and verses as a way of learning a new language and becoming bilingual! This class is perfect for any child who is new to learning Spanish, and also great for both intermediate and fluent Spanish speakers who are looking to learn some English and have a fun circle time. This class is taught in a Spanish/English bilingual instruction where every concept will be said first in English followed by the Spanish equivalence. If you are looking for a Spanish immersion class then Waldorf First Spanish is for you. WEEKLY RHYTHM - Individual welcome - Welcome verse and lighting of candle - Hello song - Day, Month & Year - Weather - Phrase of the week - Number/Letter/Shape of the week - Magic Basket (for learning vocabulary) - Goodbye song DAILY RHYTHM DAY 1 - Letter of the week DAY 2 - Number of the week DAY 3 - Shape and color Day 4 - Review WHAT TO EXPECT In this class you can expect both a traditional and contemporary Waldorf approach, with opening verses, lighting of a candle and a 'hello' song. This is a gentle, warm, and loving environment provided by the teacher where process is more important that product. Waldorful Days is a small organization. Our teaching philosophy is based around the idea that every child is unique and how they engage and learn is also unique. It is our role as educators to provide a stimulating, interesting and awe-inspiring educational environment for children of all learning styles and to create an inclusive, supportive and safe learning environment. We cultivate and encourage an interactive classroom and love for children to share their observations and ideas in a respectful way. INCLUSIVITY This is an inclusive class, meaning students of all abilities are welcome. If a student is unable to communicate verbally they are welcome to use the chat. If your student has any other needs that require accommodations please let me know and we will work together to make sure your student gets the best class experience possible.

Regina has three years of experience as a preschool teacher. She was introduced to the Waldorf philosophy when she was hired on as the lower school Spanish teacher at Monterey Bay Charter School, a Waldorf inspired school in Pacific Grove, CA. After four wonderful years of teaching at Monterey Bay Charter School, Regina was offered the position of high school Spanish teacher at Highland Hall Waldorf School (Los Angeles, Ca) in 2013-2018. During her time at Highland Hall, Regina served as the High School Sponsor for the Class of 2018 as well as the Student Council liaison for two years.
Regina also worked at Pasadena Waldorf School (Altadena, Ca) for one year. During her time at this magnificent school, she taught Spanish, History and she also served as a cosponsor for the class of 2022. Regina then transitioned to teach at Chaminade College Preparatory (West Hills, Ca) for 2 years. During her time at CCP she taught Spanish levels 1-3.
Regina also teaches Waldorf First Spanish, a Spanish immersion class for PreK and kindergarten.
