Description

Class Experience

In this weekly art class I will tell a memorised seasonal story, which we will use as a foundation for creating a beautiful and imaginative drawing using stick crayons (and block crayons if you have them).

This is a safe and supportive space for your child to enjoy storytelling, explore nature, ask questions, discuss ideas and practice different drawing techniques, using crayons, through gentle guidance from the teacher.

A typical session will look like this:

Students will learn new drawing techniques and gain more confidence in the creativity

Rebecca is the founder and lead teacher or Waldorful Days. 

She has a Diploma in Higher Education in Steiner Waldorf Education from the University of Plymouth (UK) and has also studied Waldorf Early Years Education. She has spent time in Waldorf schools, undertaking school experience and has been teaching online for four years.

Additionally, she studied a two year Art Foundation course alongside Photography and Graphic Design.

Rebecca also teaches the very popular Waldorf Kindergarten Circle Time and Waldorf-Inspired Creative Learning Circle here on Outschool and writes curriculum for all classes and programs.

- A3 plain drawing paper or A3 spiral bound art book
- stick crayons
- block crayons if you have them

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
