Children can practice and learn yin yoga and meditation to feel peaceful and soothe their nervous systems in a chaotic world. I worked as a librarian at a Waldorf school for six years working closely with grades 1-12 before transitioning to my teaching on Outschool. I also taught nature study and spent many hours in forest classes as part of my teaching at the Waldorf school. I have also taught nature Archetype studies here on Outschool. I teach Waldorf students and other students (including ESL) around the world now as a private reading and writing teacher. I have also taken private courses in archetypes and studied the work of Carl Jung as a B.S. Psychology student. I am also a published writer. I lived on a Navajo reservation for several summers. I also have Masters classes in Library Science, Human Services, as well as diversity training. I ran a middle and high school library at the Waldorf school where I taught creative writing, library, and research classes for six years. I also worked in the Waldorf kindergarten as an aftercare teacher and have authored my own preschool and kindergarten nature based curriculums for homeschool families after homeschooling my own two children. I have taught yoga/meditation to both students and faculty. I am a certified Rapid Transformational Therapist and certified hypnotherapist.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents do not need a subscription to Epic, I will only use screen share for the book in this class. Parents, please provide a yoga mat, water, proper footwear and an open safe place for students to practice movement. The best footwear is yoga gripper socks or bare feet on the sticky yoga mat. I will use youtube in this class for a short PBS video while using screen share.
