In this semester course, we will work together on reading, grammar, and comprehension skills while studying Greek mythology. Ancient Greece study is a part of grade six in the typical Waldorf curriculum. Homeschoolers and unschoolers are welcome!
Class experience
Fall with me into the amazing world of mythology in Ancient Greece, typically found in the Waldorf curriculum in Grade 5 or 6. We will read aloud tales and myths together, create drawings (all drawing is self-directed), explore grammar activities such as finding author's purpose, and changing nouns to plural form. Students will improve their reading, grammar, and writing skills through the study of Greek mythology.
I worked as a librarian at a Waldorf school for six years working closely with grades 1-12 before transitioning to my teaching on Outschool. I teach Waldorf students and other students (including ESL) around the world now as a private reading tutor. I have also taken private courses in archetypes. I am also a published writer.
