Description
Class Experience
Children will learn nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs and be able to use them in the correct ways.
I am a fully registered, full-time primary school teacher and have years of experience teaching parts of speech in my classrooms.
The interactive on-screen activity will be on Nearpod. Learners will benefit from a second screen for this activity (a tablet, Chromebook, or laptop works well). Please advise if your learner does not have a second screen. This is absolutely fine; I will adapt the activity to be all on one screen.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Formative assessment will be done throughout the class as children provide words and have to check that they fit and make sense (however silly!) Upon request, I am happy to provide a detailed report on your learner's progress and understanding of the material after the class.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
