Class Experience

I am a certified EC-12 teacher with nearly 10 years of experience teaching Reading skills to learners.

Learners will need to have access to 6 plastic cups (any color), a highlighter or marker (any color), clear tape, scissors, and 3 blank index cards (per week) to build a Word Families pyramid as a weekly assignment. This activity is optional, but it's a fun way to learn Word Families. Learners can also wear wacky socks of their choice for this class (also optional).
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parents/guardians please provide close supervision if you're allowing your child/children to use scissors while completing the Word Family Pyramid activity. Safety is our top priority! Thank you. I greatly appreciate it.
