The learner will read a book about animal tongues. The class is casual and students will enjoy finding similes, practicing the letter T, using nouns and comparing and contrasting the different animal tongues. We will play games and see photos of many different animal tongues. Students can also download the printable e-book and worksheets for further practice at home. This class is best suited for early readers in the primary grades of K-2. Independent reading is not required. The class will support emergent readers as they investigate this unique perspective on animals.
