This is a single class where the student will learn to draw different types of cars using a game board and a die. My goal is to have fun and build confidence in creativity.

Are you into cars? Then this is a great class for you to join. Using a game board and template (NOTE: These must be printed out prior to class) the students will create their own cars with a template of different styles of cars. Using the game board will help with creativity and confidence in drawing. We will all draw the first car together, taking turns rolling the dice. Then they can choose the next template and continue on their own to create the car of their choice. Kids love the game boards which I use for many of my classes. They will have the game board to play with again and again. Print out as many templates as you would like. I know that they will have a great time.
Learning Goals
My goals for all my class are very basic. I want to take the fear out of art and pack it with FUN instead. Art can be something that gives them joy throughout their lives, building that confidence now is the key to keeping the fun and relaxation in art.

Supply List
Supply List : PLEASE NOTE: *Game board and car template must be printed out before class (They are on the bottom of this page as an attachment) *Crayons or other color source like pencils or markers *A black thin line marker *Some drawing paper and *1 playing die (such as you would find in a board game, just borrow one for this class. We will be using it to roll and pick a number) . That's it.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I was an art teacher to grades 4-12 for 9 years. I didn't like to see my students frustrated because frustration is just one step away from giving up and not trying again. It's difficult once you get frustrated to try again. So let's just avoid the frustration all together. I want to encourage them to try new things but teach them that they have a great imagination and we welcome that in this class and they can use their own ideas whenever they would like to. Reviews
