Class experience
Please note: Learners are required to have an Oculus Quest 1 or 2 headset and controllers, as well as the Supernatural app downloaded to participate. The price of the Supernatural subscription is separate from this class. 🗓 In this ongoing class, participants will learn to set move goals for the week that keep them "comfortably challenged". They will learn to use the features within the Supernatural app to help them monitor their heart rate, accuracy, and power, in order to adjust their...
Learners will learn to set "comfortably challenging" goals for themselves, and how to adjust them. Students will learn to use empowering and uplifting language to help everyone in the class reach their goals and feel amazing about every accomplishment along the way. Students will be exposed to a variety of music genres.
Oculus Quest 1 or 2 headset and controllers. Subscription or at least the free trial of the Supernatural app, purchased in the Meta app store. THESE ARE ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE!
Due to the physical activity involved in this class, please be sure the participant has adequate space to move around, proper footwear, has completed the "getting started" workouts to learn proper form, completes the stretching portion of the workout, and has a water bottle close by. The Supernatural app uses radio versions of popular music. Although the lyrics may be considered "clean", there are many songs that have suggestive lyrics/themes. Please be aware of this if you do not want your child exposed to this possibility. I choose the workouts carefully and steer away from the ones I feel are inappropriate. Everyone has a different idea of what appropriate is, so please look over the song lists on the Supernatural companion app and listen to the songs on Spotify. Feel free to contact me if you are concerned about the music choices in the workout we plan to do. You will be notified of the workout in advance of the class meeting. Participants will need to be able to independently log into their Supernatural app in their headset.
The Supernatural companion app is the only resource students will need in order to preview the workouts.
