The discussions during this class may include sensitive subjects such as violence, oppression, and the hardships faced by enslaved individuals. We aim to approach this topic with sensitivity and respect for the experiences of those who suffered during this time. We will be utilize the platform YouTube in viewing only as in I the instructor will play researched and age appropriate videos (max 3 videos' @ 5-8 mins each) that relate to and reiterate our learning objectives & informational slides.
