Volleyball 101 (Basics)
In this 4-week course, learners will develop a basic understanding of the game of volleyball. We’ll discuss entry-level knowledge of the sport, and how a learner might be able to apply it to their extracurricular or recreational activities.
Class experience
Beginner Level
This a lecture-style class with the majority of the class period open to questions and/or comments. Topics like serving, passing, setting, scoring, teams, and other relevant information will be discussed throughout the course. Video clips and pictures may be included in the lessons as guides, but will not be the center of attention for the class. No prior knowledge or understanding of course material is necessary. I play college volleyball and coach volleyball teams. I know quite a bit about this topic! I also have my Substitute Teacher certification and have worked with children for the majority of my adult life!
