US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this one time class, students will use the scientific method to learn about two different types of volcanoes as well as conduct our own experiment. Students will learn the difference between explosive and effusive volcanoes. They will use this knowledge to make some predictions about what type of volcano they think our experiment will be. Then using tin foil, a cup, vinegar dyed red, and baking soda, students will construct a volcano and make it erupt. We will then share our observations...
