Class Experience
In this course student will complete a series of science projects to learn about volcanos and what happens to the lava and rock after the eruption of a volcano. Day one of this camp will include making a volcano and discussing where volcanoes come from, where they can be found, what causes them to erupt and so much more! Day 2 of this camp student will learn about the rock cycle. They will learn about the different kinds of rocks and how they are made. They will also complete a small hands on...
Day 1: A jar or bottle food coloring baking soda vinegar Play dough Day 2: Rice krispie cereal marshmellows butter chocolate chips or M&M's Microwave 3-4 microwave safe bowl measuring cup spoons
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental supervision is recommended for the projects and to supervise use of the microwave.
