Well Hello Songbirds! Welcome voice lessons! Students in this class will receive group voice lessons. In this ongoing back to the basics voice class, I will teach students how to sing healthy and with confidence. We will have fun and learn at the same time. We will start with breathing exercises (breathing from the diaphragm) where student will learn how to sing from their diaphragm and support their notes with proper breath flow. I've been a vocal coach for over 25 years. I majored in Music Education with an emphasis in Voice at Norfolk State University. I'm a Vocal Coach, Voice Over Artist, Director, Singer and Actress. I've performed with the Virginia Opera Association and many different Artists. I teach Workshops and Master Classes. I produce and direct plays and love to give back to the community with the Arts. I'm thankful I've accomplished so many things; however, seeing my students grow and have fun while using their voice means more to me than all the things I've accomplished.
Homework Offered
Learners' voices will grow if they practice throughout the week, between lessons. They will receive a video, audio file and lyrics to prepare for the lesson.Assessments Offered
