Class Experience
US Grade 8 - 12
This class will focus on the different ingredients that make up the vocal recipe. Each week, students will explore and master a specific ingredient, allowing them to develop a strong and versatile voice. Throughout the course, students will learn various techniques to improve their voice, including vocal warm-ups and exercises designed to practice the part of the body we are focusing on. We will study proper posture, support, diction, and articulation to ensure clear and powerful delivery. By the end of the course, students will have a deeper understanding of the different ingredients that make up the vocal recipe and how to apply these techniques to singing.

Hello!
I am a person in love with all things related to storytelling! I have taught Acting, Voice, and Scriptwriting for a performing Arts School for the past 12 years. I have also taught Writing, Research, Critical Thinking, and AP Language and Literature classes at the secondary and college level.
I have an M.A. in English and Creative Writing, along with Studio training in Musical Theater and Theatre Production. In 2023, I received my Master's degree in Theatre with a Concentration in Musical Theatre. I have worked professionally as a singer, actress and teacher for the past 21 years - many of my students have gone on to get acceptances to Tier One Performing Arts Colleges and work in the film and theatre industries.
I am super excited to teach Theatre and Arts-Integrated classes like Decoding Shakespeare, Creating Characters, and Musical Theatre Voice.Reviews
