Class Experience
This is a hands-on plus discussion-based course. Articulation is essential for students who are in the arts. In this course, we will discuss voice and speech and actively participate in speaking exercises. At the beginning of class, we will discuss the importance of speaking clearly. Next, we will talk about articulation and how we can articulate clearer. We will then move into practicing speaking activities beginning with a vocal warm-up and ending with and final discussion. Students will have a pre-course discussion and a post-course discussion. Students will be provided with additional articulation exercises to try at home after the lesson.
Students will need: Articulation worksheet/handouts printed Marshmallows or a lollipop for final articulation exercise
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
