The acquisition of academic vocabulary is crucial for learning new words that can be invaluable when writing paragraphs, essays, and speaking on all grade levels. I will introduce 15 new words (per week) each time this course is listed. Therefore, students can feel free to enroll multiple times in this course since words will not be repeated. English, Literature, Reading, Writing, and Grammar are the subject areas that my baccalaureate and master's degree training encompasses. I have more than twenty-five years of teaching Language Arts ranging from Kindergarten to College level courses. For a multitude of years, I taught SAT vocabulary and infused it into daily classroom instruction.
