Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Hop in, hop out. Chat Pokémon. Learn new words, roots, usage, parts of speech, etc. Enhance your world without even knowing it's happening.

They know the names. Now they have a chance to understand the meaning behind them! Their game play experience becomes deeper while their vocabulary does the same. Who says learning has to be boring?

Each week, new Pokémon will be introduced along with pictures (and maybe a video clip here and there) and a detailed description of the name, the meaning behind it, its root (or roots), and real world examples of how to use the new words.

This class does not build upon itself. Students can freely come and go if and when they feel the desire to chat pocket monsters.

Examples of Pokemon and the linked vocabulary include:

Week of Feb. 27
Abomasnow - abominable
Accelgor - accelerate
Annihilape - annihilate

Week of Mar. 6

all of the Eeveelutions (glaciers and and vapors and jolts, oh my!)
and so much more!

All are welcome! At least a little knowledge of and interest in Pokémon is preferred, because, you know, learning is much more fun when it's something in which we're interested.
