Vocabulary Challenge: Level up Reading, Writing, and Speaking Skills SAT Prep

This vocabulary course was designed for upper elementary and middle school students to improve reading comprehension, vocabulary, and spelling. 

Each week a new list of fifteen words is assigned. Each list includes a range of vocabulary words from 6th-8th grade levels. 

Students should expect to maintain a vocabulary journal. The journal could be a composition book, a spiral notebook, or looseleaf paper in a folder with brads.

A worksheet packet is provided in PDF format.

The worksheet packet includes at least 3 activities, a word list with definitions, a reading comprehension activity, and answer keys.

The class is supplemented by an online digital activity on Quizlet. These activities are customized to each weekly list. 

There are 20 weeks of content in this course but the content does not build. Join this class anytime. 

Students may submit their homework and expect feedback from the teacher within 24 hours.
