Description
Class Experience
To improve word fluency and word choice
My passion -- as well as my professional background -- is teaching English. I hold a B.A. Biology from the Jackson State University and an M.A in English Literature from University of Mississippi. I've also taught writing, literature. and language arts classes to students of all ages and abilities. For this class in particular, I bring my love and knowledge of vocabulary. I have also have tutored and taught students how to read, write, and how to expand their word choice. I also have taught online for over 4 years and have learned how to bring fun, innovative ways to online learning. This class will defiantly be memorable.
Students will have short homework assignments each day.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Outside of Outschool Learners will use Nearpod. No passwords or logins needed.
