*This class will never be canceled due to low enrollment as I will teach to one learner! During this class learners will listen to the African Folktale, Who's in Rabbit's House, retold by Verna Aardema. We will focus on one of the 7 keys to comprehension: Visualizing. I will begin the lesson by explaining what Visualizing is and how to use it as a self-checking strategy for understanding. As students listen to this very descriptive story, they will be prompted to tell what images they see...
Students need a blank piece of paper on which to draw, a pencil, and optional crayons or markers.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
