Welcome to the Visual Zoology, a captivating weekly gathering designed for animal enthusiasts aged 7-9! Embark on an exciting journey through the animal kingdom, which encompasses millions of species scattered across the globe. In this club, we aim to deepen your understanding of biology concepts while nurturing your artistic talents. During each session, we will focus on a specific mystery animal and explore its placement within modern classification systems. With a keen eye for detail, we will uncover its key characteristics, such as habitat, behavior, and ecological niche. Simultaneously, we will engage in an immersive art project, allowing you to choose your preferred medium (pen and paper, paint, tablet drawing program, etc.) to artistically portray the animal while unraveling their identity. The Visual Zoology club offers a fantastic opportunity for animal enthusiasts to receive formal instruction while enjoying the company of like-minded peers. Join our welcoming community and showcase your artwork to fellow learners, fostering a supportive environment that celebrates individual creativity and growth. Since each class features a mystery animal, there is not a set schedule of topics and learners can count on something new every week. Mystery animals will be a new surprise each week, but will incorporate learner feedback, ensuring an engaging time for all.
