Students will be able to understand the basics of visual analysis, and will be able to dissect a shot of any movie for choices regarding emotion, color, lighting, perspective, and narrative purpose.
College courses on the analysis of graphic novels, past experience teaching similar subjects in middleschool classrooms (largely in relation to the graphic novel "The Curie Society")
