Class Experience
Learners will: -Identify and analyze 2d shapes, including circles, squares, triangles, and rectangles. -Identify and analyze 3d solids, including spheres, cubes, cones, and cylinders. -Classify and sort regular and irregular 2d and 3d shapes. -Work with patterns, sequences -Identify, order, and compare measurable attributes. -Sort objects by one or more attributes to solve problems
I have spent over 20 years in the classroom teaching early childhood, elementary, and middle school students. My mathematics classroom incorporates inquiry-based learning, with just the right balance between child-guided and adult-guided experiences.
