Description

Class Experience

Students will improve:
their ability to write descriptively,
understand author choices 
understand character archetypes 
construct and sketch graphic novel type pages
-To teach a high school level course, I have the expertise of teaching English Language Arts in a public high school in the United States for 15 years 

-I am currently certified with the National Council for Teacher of English  

-I am currently certified to teach English Language Arts Level T-7 (Highly Qualified) under the Georgia Professional Standards Commission from 2007 - 2022; certification to be renewed 2026  

-I have a BS in English Education from Kennesaw State University 

-I have taught this material through the Johns Creek Student Leadership Council for three years to students from middle school (grade 6) to high school (grade up to 12) 
any homework would be up to the student and not required (if they choose to further develop character or story builds on their own time) 
 1 file available upon enrollment
Students need Something to write on Something to write with (digital or paper is fine as long as students are able to share what they have drawn) A working web cam to show work
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
A few Youtube video clips (never full length) will be shown through the teachers computer to students. No student will need to log in to a third party app at ay point.
