In this self paced, visual arts course, your child's art experience will focus around the National Art Standards that centers on creating, performing, responding and connecting your child to the arts in a well rounded enriched art eduction. There will be a focus on the elements of art including line, shape, color, texture, form, space and value. Understanding these elements will guide them as artists and assist them in using them as visual forces. My class will have your child responding to critiques of master artists and making connections to their personal art while beginning to understand art in societal, cultural and historical context.
