Class Experience

US Grade 7 - 10
In this class, students will embark on an exciting journey through the body systems, diving into each one with just a sheet of paper and some colorful pens. We'll explore everything from the skeletal and muscular systems to the intricate workings of the nervous and circulatory systems. With nearly a year's worth of engaging and creative anatomy doodle lessons, students will have a blast while gaining a deep understanding of how their bodies work, making learning both fun and memorable!

Take a look at our different "adventures" below. Don't worry! You don't need to be an artist to take this class. My goal is to make learning about the human body fun!

An important note: The BEST time to join this class would be when a new topic begins. However, students are welcome to join at any time!

Learning Needs
Sketchnoting, a visual note-taking method, benefits neurodiverse learners by embracing non-linear thinking. Its use of iconography and visual metaphor provides alternative pathways for comprehension, accommodating diverse cognitive styles.
Parental Guidance
All classes are based on the accepted consensus of the secular scientific community, and may include discussions of evolution by natural selection, the cellular and hormonal mechanics of sexual and asexual reproduction, and other aspects of studying living systems. Blooket is an online tool that will occasionally be used for optional review games. No account is required.
