Students will learn the history of each museum and marker on the famous Freedom Trail located in Boston. Using Google Maps and Interactive Museum websites we will explore and discuss the history of each famous location. Background knowledge of Paul Revere, the Boston Tea Party, or the Declaration of Independence are a plus but not a requirement. Learner progress will be informally monitored/adjusted during discussions. Students will create a graphic organizer to record a fact or two of each stop on the Freedom Trail.

I attended college in downtown Boston for several years and walked the Freedom Trail regularly. I find the history of not just this city but also the places along this trail to be very fascinating . I want to share my love for the history of Boston as well as it's vital role in our American history.
