Students will learn about the various islands that make up Hawaii, the culture, the history, and interesting facts about the islands. They will be taking an interactive virtual field trip using Power Point and other various mediums like drone videos. Students will discuss first what they know about Hawaii before taking the virtual field trip. There will be no homework since this is a one time class. At the end of the course, the students will be able to give two interesting facts that they did not know about before.

Supply List
The students will not need to purchase anything. All they would need is paper and pencil to write down some of the interesting facts about Hawaii. There will be questions online on the PP that the students will be able to answer throughout the field trip.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I am offering this class because a parent has requested her student learn about Hawaii since they just moved to Hawaii. I love learning about new places and this would be a good way for me to learn along with them. Just finding interesting facts about Hawaii has enlightened my lack of knowledge and would love to visit there sometime. Reviews
