In our Virtual Study Hall tailored for students aged 12-17, our class structure follows a productive rhythm. We kick off with a 5-minute "todo list" session where students share their tasks or goals for the study session. This brief but vital period helps set the tone for focused work. Then, we dive into a concentrated 45-minute work block where students independently tackle their assignments or study material. Throughout this concentrated work time, I am readily available to address any queries, provide guidance, or offer assistance wherever needed. While students work independently, they have the peace of mind that help is just a message or question away. As the work block concludes, we wrap up with another 5-minute segment where students share their accomplishments or progress made during the session. This final segment encourages a sense of achievement, fostering motivation and a positive attitude towards continued learning and productivity.
Learning Goals
In our Virtual Study Hall designed for students aged 12-17, our primary focus is to empower learners with personalized learning goals. We aim to cultivate effective study habits, enhance subject-specific understanding, and foster critical thinking skills. Our overarching learning goals encompass improving academic performance, promoting self-discipline, and nurturing a proactive approach to learning. By tailoring our guidance to individual needs, we aspire to instill confidence, resilience, and a passion for continuous self-improvement among our students.Other Details

Very happy to have conversations with parents pre-study hall in order to adapt to different learning needs or styles.
Parental Guidance
Students are welcome to ask questions via chat or microphone about the schoolwork they were assigned. Some schoolwork assigned to some student may not be appropriate to all learners. If there is a particularly sensitive topic, I will communicate via chat only with learners.
