Teacher expertise and credentials
The Texas State Aquarium is a non-profit, AZA accredited aquarium that focuses on the species and habitats in the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. Opened in 1990, our mission is to engage people with animals, inspire appreciation for our seas, and support wildlife conservation.

TSA's Aquavision is the perfect platform for students and families to learn and discover together. Our FIN-tastic virtual programs put aquatic animals front and center in your home with real-time cameras throughout our animal exhibits.

Our professional education team is composed of passionate individuals with years of teaching experience. Our goal is to inspire students to learn about the natural world, and connect them to the animals that might not be in their own backyard. We focus on student-led learning using and developing STEM processing skills.
