My love affair with Washington, DC, started in the 8th grade when my civics class took a trip there. What could be better than hanging for a day out in the Nation's Capital with your friends?! It definitely continued when I went to Howard University and as a History major poured over primary sources in the Library of Congress or visited galleries around town. I've also been lucky enough to lead groups of students on week long stays over the past 5 years. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
