In this one time class, your little explorer will go on a virtual camping trip! Together we will brainstorm what we will need, color our camp site, hike, learn about bears and owls, and write a fun campfire story using Mad Libs.

In this one time course your little explorer will go on a virtual camping trip! Together we will have fun exploring and camping utilizing the online engagement platform Nearpod! Together we will: - brainstorm what items we will need for our camping trip - draw and design our own camp site - go on a "hike" and learn about bears - observe and learn about owls - write a class camp fire story using Mad Libs This lesson will utilize Nearpod, an interactive learning tool, and will include interactive elements. I will post a link to the Nearpod lesson in the classroom before class starts. Nearpod is a student engagement platform and can be used on the same device the student is using to access the class zoom meeting or on a secondary device (iPad/tablet, phone, etc). I will post a detailed guide in the classroom explaining how to use both programs at the same time! This class is interactive and a fun way for your little explorer to experience a virtual field trip! This class is perfect for learners whether or not they have been camping before! Please have your child bring paper and crayons/markers to class. I will also provide a printable in the class if your student would prefer to color a camping site rather than draw one. *Since this class encourages frequent student participation, please ensure your learner is in a quiet space with no background noise.* **Please see my profile for my class policies.**
