Just like a literal escape room a virtual escape room is a series of themed puzzles that must be solved correctly to move on to the next level. In this positive learning environment, where everyone gets the opportunity to participate, learners will sharpen their skills in critical thinking using mediums like science, math and spelling. Students will work together solving the puzzles related to science, math and spelling. Depending on the needs of the class, the teacher will give tips or hints to help the students come to the correct conclusion. The class will begin with an explanation of how an escape room works and how to work together to solve the mystery. After correctly solving each puzzle the students learn the life cycle of the butterfly.

Hello! I am very excited to begin a learning journey with your precious little one (or not so little one, in the case of teens). I have a Bachelors in Postsecondary education with a minor in American Sign Language. I was a homeschool mom for over 20 years. Both my son and daughter graduated from high school 2 years early and we are weeks away from both of them having their BA (at ages 22 and 18). I feel like I have mastered the art of teaching based on the child and their interests. I started teaching my children ASL at birth. My son and my daughter are both sign language interpreters and sign language teachers.
I love teaching and I love learning. I am an avid swimmer. I have been certified as a swim instructor and a personal trainer. I have been teaching online since 2018. I absolutely love seeing children learn and grow. In our classroom we have no stress or negativity. I feel positive reassurance provides the best learning environment. We have lots of fun!
