Description

Class Experience

Want your child to participate in an online virtual camp? The class is 2 hours each day, M-F for two weeks. We will be utilizing Zoom features to have breakout rooms so students will be able to choose which activity they would like to do. In addition to playing games like Minecraft and Roblox we will also go on virtual filed trips using Google Earth. I will also have the option of tutoring sessions for those that want some extra practice during the summer.

Social Skills - students will learn how to speak to peers, listen and respect when other peers are speaking, and demonstrate patience as they wait for their turn to share.

Critical Thinking - students will be encouraged to solve problems and work together in different online games.

Working Collaboratively - learners will be able to work with one or more classmates to design, build, or construct new builds in sandbox games through discussion and sharing.

10 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
