Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to slur two notes together using an up or down bow. We may also learn slurs of more than 2 notes. From the String Basics book we will cover ~#131-135, and students may be able to practice subsequent exercises in the book as well depending on their skill level.

Violin or viola (tuned and ready to go at the start of class), 'String Basics: Steps to Success for String Orchestra' book (~$11), pencil, music stand (optional), and colored highlighters or colored pencils (pink and orange, possibly blue will be needed for this class)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
