Students will advance their skill and musicality on the violin/viola, as well as gain valuable musical knowledge through focused, interactive group lessons. 


Lesson Goals Include:

♫ Building Confidence Playing For Others and Addressing Performance Anxiety
♫ Learning How to Support and Encourage their Peers Through Constructive Feedback
♫ Strengthening Rhythmic and Tonal Awareness through Interactive Ear Training
♫ Strengthening the Basics of Note reading in the Treble Clef
♫ Developing Musical Appreciation and Critical Listening Skills Through Classical, Jazz and Pop Music Excerpts Such as Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 5, How High the Moon with Stéphane Grappelli, and Roundtable Rival by Lindsey Stirling

Homework Offered
Homework will consist of 15 minutes of daily practice, preferably under the supervision and direction of a parent or caregiver. 
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will be assessed on their focused attention, participation and weekly practice and improvement. Parents will be informed how their child is responding to the class and any pertinent details that must be communicated.
