In this one-time class, learners will learn everything they need to know in order to run a village in Minecraft; healing zombie villagers, trading, and raiding will be discussed and demonstrated. Students can join my private realm to test out their skills!
Class experience
In this class, we will be learning about villages, creating your own village, healing zombie villagers, trading and obtaining emeralds, and beating raids in Minecraft. Learn how to make the most out of trading with hero status and picking the best items to sell to get the most emeralds fast! Learn the quickest way to a fully powered beacon. We also will discuss iron golems and keeping your villagers safe. We will be touring my own village I made and if we are lucky, curing some villagers!...
Students will learn how to run an efficient village in Minecraft. They will learn about how to obtain the best trades and strategies for making the most money quickly (emeralds) in the game. We will discuss safe builds and how to stay organized in your village. We will also work as a team to heal villagers and defend the village.
Students will need one device for chatting on Zoom through Outschool and a device to play Minecraft. Minecraft Bedrock Edition for any of these devices: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, or tablets.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:

We will be playing Minecraft on a private Bedrock Realm. Please review internet safety with your child: — Do not ask other people to connect online outside of our programs without first confirming with your adults. — Do NOT give away personal information — If an individual asks for personal information, you should inform me, or your adult for guidance. There will be no participant allowed on this server that was not approved by me. Minecraft played in survival mode does have some minor cartoon violence, players use pixelized weapons to defeat "mobs" such as zombies or skeletons they also have the option to farm animals for food. Players also can take damage and "die". This resets their character at a spawn point.
