Learn video editing using iMovie's mobile app (for iPad/iPhone). Students will upload video, split screen and layer backgrounds, add transitions, audio tracks, titles & share their videos. Note there is another "Basics" laptop class. #OSFF

Description

Class Experience

At the end of six sessions, students will  produce a short finished film in which they have edited video footage, used backgrounds and titles effectively, added appropriate audio tracks, and demonstrated thoughtful use of transitions.
I have been teaching iMovie for over ten years, and my middle school students frequently win local and state-wide film competitions, largely attributed to their skillful use of many of iMovie's tools that take their student films to much more mature, advanced levels that rival their peers.

iMovie (iPad or iPhone app)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:

50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
