Class Experience

My goal is to create a meaningful, comfortable, social learning environment where students discuss interesting topics and connect with each other.

This is a discussion-based class that helps students build speaking and listening skills. Students may compare and contrast games and consoles, talk about gaming strategy, and discuss the current happenings in the video game world. Students will build communication skills while having fun and making friends! Class topics will be largely student-led.

Here are some examples of discussion topics:
Which video game is your favorite?
Do you watch any gameplay videos on YouTube?
If you could create your own video game, what would it be like?

Students will have plenty of opportunities to share their input and listen to others.
Learning Goals
Public speaking, active listening, supporting ideas and opinions.
