Description

Class Experience

Students will gain a deep familiarity with the history and themes of classic video games and be introduced to key facets of video game design.
Please see profile.
Links to suggested readings and video lessons will be provided to accompany each session. Fully exploring these will take learners well beyond the live discussion sessions. 
Playing along on any version of games under discussion will add to the learner's experience. Additional readings and video lessons will be posted throughout the course.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Per parent request, I can give qualitative feedback on students' level of participation and engagement. 
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
