The life and energy of a sentence comes from from its verb(s).  Learn to identify and distinguish action, linking, helping, and verb phrases.  These can be tricky, but after this class, your student will be a master!  In this class, verbs will be easily understood.  A prior knowledge of some parts of speech are helpful but not necessary.
