I have been a certified veterinary technician for more than 30 years and have been teaching at a local community college in a veterinary Assistant Program and a variety of Veterinary Science programs for grades 3-5, 6-8, and high school. I am also a homeschool mom! At home, my family has 3 mini horses, a Paint horse, 5 Nigerian dwarf goats, 9 chickens and 3 cats! I am passionate about sharing my experience and love for animals and veterinary medicine with all learners from diverse backgrounds from all around the world! If your learner has a dream to be a veterinary professional, then I am excited to help them on these first steps!
Learners will be expected to have the book and to have read the chapters assigned for the week. They should plan to take notes to be able to share their thoughts on the chapters with the class.
