1 hour per week. Students are asked to color different pictures. There are vocabulary words they can copy if they want. The students will receive a coloring book after their first class with teacher Pat. Each day they will be assigned a page to color. They also have parts of the cat, dog, snake, and rat coloring sheets. It includes a cut-and-paste activity showing the parts to the stethoscope, too. This is optional.Class Experience
US Grade 1 - 4
Beginner Level
This class introduces students to veterinary science. ***Please note that I prefer students to have their video cameras on during the class. Also, there will be intermittent video clips from YouTube to visually explain the topic. Vicky the Vet by Jo Litchfield and Felicity Brooks can be purchased however it isn't required for this class. A child should attend class independently. Parents and siblings are NOT to be seen on camera. If you are with your child, please refrain from talking to your child. Whispers can easily be picked up by the microphone and heard by all attendees, so refrain from this to avoid background noise. Your consideration is much appreciated. Children should bring craft tools and coloring utensils to each class session.
Learning Goals
Students will learn what the life of a vet entails.
Introduce them to vocabulary associated with Veterinary Science.
