Using the “flipped classroom” model, learners will read the chapters for the week and come to class ready to discuss their thoughts on what is going on in the story and how it might pertain to helping animals in real life. Each book as an animal related theme and during the final class meeting on each book the teacher will discuss more about what the theme should teach us about animal care/ veterinary science. Projects for completion after class will be suggested by the teacher but not required.
