US Grade 3 - 5
During this class, the learners will learn how to draw and paint a different Van Gogh-inspired, Halloween-themed painting each day for 4 days. The learners will be shown how to sketch out their project and blend paints while creating 4 different works of art with a Halloween theme inspired by Van Gogh's art. They will also be encouraged to add their own personal touches of creativity to their paintings. The class will follow the following format: Greetings Directed Draw Painting and Socialization (the socialization may take the form of Would You Rather depending on what the learners choose during the class) Virtual Art Gallery I will teach using directed drawing. My teaching style is relaxed and encourages learners to be creative. The learners will be encouraged to interact with me and each other throughout the lesson. There is no previous knowledge needed. Learning Goals
The learners will learn about the artist Vincent Van Gogh as well as landscape paintings. They will learn about using lines and shapes to create art.

Clear and concise diretions will be given along with a step-by-step demonstration to support a variety of unique learning needs.
Parental Guidance
This class is Halloween-themed. The jokes, riddles, and Would You Rather questions will be Halloween-themed if I am offering them. The learners will be determining some of the topics of conversation during this class. Acrylic paint will wash off the skin easily, but it doesn't like to wash out of clothing or other surfaces.
